About
My love of travel began long before I became a travel advisor.
From the time I was a kid, I looked forward to family vacations and the adventures that came with them. We traveled throughout the United States, creating memories everywhere from our country's incredible National Parks to those unforgettable roadside tourist attractions that make a family road trip so much fun. Those early experiences sparked a curiosity about new places and a love of travel that has stayed with me throughout my life.
My travels expanded considerably during my 23 years of service in the United States Air Force. During my military career, I had the opportunity to travel throughout the country and abroad, experiencing different destinations, people, and cultures along the way. Today, I'm proud to say that I've visited all 50 states and two U.S. territories, as well as numerous countries around the world.
Every destination added another chapter to my travel story—and strengthened my appreciation for just how meaningful travel can be.
Then, in 2010, I discovered cruising.
I took my first cruise and was immediately hooked.
Since that first sailing, I've experienced numerous cruises, exploring destinations that include the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Mediterranean aboard multiple cruise lines. Along the way, I've developed a genuine appreciation for everything that makes cruising such a unique way to see the world—from the ships and destinations to the dining, service, entertainment, and experiences found both onboard and ashore.
I've also discovered that I genuinely enjoy what happens before the vacation begins: the research, planning, comparing options, and attention to detail required to turn an idea into an exceptional journey.
That passion ultimately led me to create Uphoff Travel Experiences, LLC, where I specialize in premium and luxury cruise vacations.
My approach is simple: your vacation should be designed around you.
I take the time to understand how you like to travel, what matters most to you, and what you want to experience. Then I put my travel experience, research, and attention to detail to work, helping you navigate the many decisions involved in planning an exceptional cruise vacation.
